Key Milestones
Happy Hearts is dedicated to our educational model of partnership, community involvement, and empowerment as it is one that can be sustained and scaled. Ultimately, we look to expand our model across Rwanda and into other countries.
Our successful partnership with the Rwandan government in the Gasabo district has yielded a dozen preschools in early education and home-based centers. We are scaling intentionally and responsibly and our government partners are eager for additional Happy Hearts For All centers.
Our work supports the following SDGs:
Quality Education.
Gender Equality and
Decent Work & Economic Growth.
Since 2015 Happy Hearts has impacted the lives of more than 2,000 students ages 0-6, as well as roughly 13,000 indirect beneficiaries, including students’ family members, community members, and our staff through high-quality, accessible preschools and childcare centers across Rwanda.
Happy Hearts supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by developing accessible Early Childhood Development services (SDG #4), creating opportunities for women's economic empowerment (SDG #5) and providing teacher training in order to develop employable and transferable skills (SDG #8).
