The Happy Hearts curriculum is based on the Montessori philosophy.
We chose Montessori for its holistic, child-centered approach that lets children learn at their own pace. It enhances creativity, curiosity, self-confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our Centers are inclusive and bilingual, welcoming all children and families to Happy Hearts.

Community lifestyle:
At Happy Hearts, our community lifestyle and child-centric follow-up fosters growth in a supportive social environment. Children participate daily in caring for the environment and each other, helping with tasks like cooking, serving, setting tables, washing dishes, and keeping our facilities organized. Everyone has a role to ensure we all thrive.

Classes:
With an average ratio of 1 educator to 5 learners, we offer several tailor-made age groups to deliver the best educational experience according to their needs:
Infants, below 10 months;
Young Toddlers, 10 - 24 months;
Toddlers and Twos, 24 - 36 months;
Preschoolers, 3 - 6 years.

Bilingual:
Research shows that learning multiple languages early gives children a lifelong advantage. Our centers are bilingual, with French and English integrated every day. We provide the right environment for your child’s early literacy and education, ensuring they have a strong foundation for success.

Inclusivity:
We are proud to offer inclusive education at Happy Hearts, recognized as the Inclusive Private School of the Year 2023 by the Rwanda Disability Awards. We create an environment that meets the diverse needs of all children, including those with neurodiversity and disabilities, ensuring they reach developmental milestones. Our goal is to build a future society free from stigma and discrimination.

Nutrition, Health and Safety:
Through a careful selection of locally grown products and home-made dishes, custom-crafted together with nutritionists, Happy Hearts provide a balanced, healthy and delicious menu to our little learners. We also guarantee a physically & mentally safe learning environment, where children are carefully supervised, taken care of, valued and respected as individuals.

Communication:
Just like education should be child-centered, we offer family-focused communication platforms, to develop a great relationship with each one of you! All families are invited to join individualized and customized follow-up groups, all about your child only. We create a safe space to exchange, discuss and ask any questions to our experienced educators and dedicated management team.
